AUBURN HILLS — Behind a 16-7 first-quarter run, Auburn Hills Avondale had no problems with Ferndale University Tuesday, posting a 50-29 non-conference girls basketball victory.

TROY 41, LAKE ORION 19: Troy cruised past Lake Orion Tuesday in this OAA crossover contest behind a 23-12 first half.
The Colts outscored the Dragons in each of the four quarters, posting a 18-7 edge in the second half.
Sydney Heath finished with 16 points and Rachael Zelmanski added eight points for Troy.
Evelyn Winschneyer scored six for Lake Orion.
HOLLY 38. LAPEER EAST 13: Allyssa Copley scored 12 and Abby Lewandowski added nine points to lead Holly to the FML win Tuesday.
