BASEBALL Adams sweeps Rochester

ROCHESTER HILLS — Rochester Adams collected 19 runs and was able to roast rival Rochester Thursday with a 10-6, 9-0 OAA Red Division baseball twinbill sweep.

In the opener, CJ Borglin scattered eight hits, struck out six and walked two while giving up four earned runs to gain the win.

Borglin helped his own cause by going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Ben Hart belted a home run, drove in three runs and had two hits for the Highlanders.

Max Harper finished 3-for-3 with two RBI for Rochester.baseball - ball & bat

In the nightcap, Adams scored three in the second and tacked on six in the fourth to bust the contest open.

Kyle Lawless drove in two runs as part of a balanced attack for Adams (6-6, 3-3). Mike Surnick fanned seven, walke3d three and gave up only six hits from the rubber for the Highlanders.
