FRIDAY’S PREP ROUNDUP: Oxford edges Stoney Creek; Troy downs Bloomfield Hills United
OXFORD — Caitlyn Wroblewski posted a .810 save percentage between the pipes and her Oxford teammates found enough offensive firepower in a 5-04 OAA White Division girls lacrosse win Friday over Rochester Stoney Creek.
Emma Kimmel scored three goals to lead the Wildcats, while Abby Wrobel added two goals.
TROY 8, BLOOMFIELD HILLS UNIFIED 7: Margaret Metzger scored three goals with an assist for Bloomfield Hills. Maddie Monahan and Christina Arens scored two goals and Maria D’Angelo added single tally for Bloomfield Hills.
ROCHESTER ADAMS 11, FARMINGTON 3: Adams won for the fifth time this season Friday in OAA White Division play.

NORTH FARMINGTON 10, OXFORD 4: Emma Kimmel and Kayce Calcaterra scored two goals each for Oxford.
BOYS LACROSSE
CLARKSTON 23, NORTH FARMINGTON-HARRISON UNIFIED 6: Clarkston capped an unbeaten league season in the OAA Red Division Friday with this lopsided victory.
After leading just 5-3 entering the second quarter, the Wolves went on an 8-1 run in the frame and never looked back. Clarkston outscored the visitors 10-2 in the second half.
Kevin Horton led Clarkston (11-2-0, 7-0-0) Kevin O’Grady (four assists), Travis Craft and Jordan Kincaid (three assists) all scored three goals, Connor Ward, AJ Kowal and Sam Moore contributed two goals apiece, while Reid Kaminski, Brad Leuenhagen, Mike Vanderweel and Connor Dzewit all added single tallies for the Wolves, who collected 30 total shots on the night and scored a season-high 23 goals.
The Clarkston defense had a combined 23 ground balls and 14 takeaways.
North Farmington slipped to 6-9-0 overall.
GIRLS SOCCER
TROY 3, BLOOMFIELD HILLS ANDOVER 1: Troy scored a goal in the first half and added two more in the second half en route to this OAA crossover win Friday.
Irena young, Kayla Porter and Erin Wruble all scored for Troy, while Madison Hirsch and Amelia Troccoli drew assists for the Colts (10-2-0). Alison Holland made three saves on four chances.
Remy Houttekia scored for Andover and Emily Atkinson made six saves for the Barons.
CLARKSTON 2, OXFORD 0: Clarkston scored a goal in each half to upend Oxford in this OAA White Division clash. Lindsey Adams scored both goals for the Wolves. Darien Brandel made 15 saves in a losing effort for Oxford (5-11-1, 1-8-1).
BASEBALL
AUBURN HILLS OAKLAND CHRISTIAN 11, WESTLAND HURON VALLEY LUTHERAN 0: Stuart Sutherland picked up the win by pitching four shutout innings with five strikeouts in this MIAC Red Division win.
Rafael Eigenmann was 1-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI. Josh Gudobba was 3-for-4 with a triple and three runs scored for Oakland Christian (11-5, 8-1).
