BOYS HOCKEY: Kozoro’s game-winner lifts Farmington past Lake Orion
FARMINGTON HILLS — Nick Kozoro was the hero Thursday night.
The senior forward from Farmington scored the game-winner in overtime to lead Farmington to a 2-1 OAA Red Division boys hockey victory over Lake Orion at the Suburban Ice Arena.
B.J. Rankin and Drake Cole assisted on the goal for Farmington (4-4-2, 1-0-2). Roman firestone scored the first goal early in the third period for the Falcons.
Connor Moesta forced overtime with his late third-period goal for Lake Orion.
Logan Aldrich netted 25 saves for Lake Orion. John Lethemon had 22 saves for Farmington.
