CHSL FOOTBALL: Lakes rebounds to down Cabrini
WATERFORD —Sal Mastromatteo and Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes bounced back Saturday.
After giving up 34 points the previous weekend to Birmingham Detroit Country Day, the Lakers returned to the winning column with a 21-0 shutout of visiting Allen Park Cabrini.
Mastromatteo hit Jake Weir with a 14-yard TD pass and also connected with Richie Cross from 47 yards out for another score. Mitch Lasceski scored on a 1-yard plunge for Our Lady of the Lakes., which scored one touchdown in the first quarter and two more in the third frame.
Jake Doetsch hit all three extra points.
Cabini remained winless at 0-5.
