TUESDAY’S PREP ROUNDUP: Oxford, Andover battle to draw

OXFORD — Bloomfield Hills Andover and Oxford settled very little Tuesday in a match featuring two OAA White Division girls soccer teams.

The Barons and Wildcats settled for a 2-2 draw, which left Oxford with a 4-6-1 overa record and 1-3-1 ledger in league play.

Oxford’s Chelsea Johnson scored off an assist by Sara Ruch score at the 28:20 mark of first half. Oxford’s Brianna Johnson assisted by Chelsea Johnson scored in 31:38 in second half to cap the scoring for the Wildcats. Darrien Bandel made 11 saves.

Andover scored early in the contest, then tied it up with 11minutes left in second half.

BASEBALL

AUBURN HILLS OAKLAND CHRISTIAN 4, WESTLAND HURON VALLEY LUTHERAN 1: Oakland Christian captured its second MIAC Red Division win of the season Tuesday. Senior catcher Rafael Eigenmann went 2-for-3 with three RBI and Collin O’Connor pitched a complete game, striking out 10 to get the win for the Lancers (3-3, 2-1
