FRIDAY’S GIRLS LACROSSE: Rochester edges Rochester Adams

ROCHESTER HILLS Rochester overcame an early 2-0 deficit and defeated visiting Rochester Adams 8-6 Friday in a non-conference girls lacrosse match

Led by 14 saves by goalie Aly Rosenau and an outstanding defensive effort by Kirsten Laux, the Falcons picked up single goals from Samantha Blair, Jordin Pardoski, Kylie Gray, Tara Kenny, Katie Krako, Karoline Newer, Renee Soulliere and Jessica Leininger.

At 10-1-0, Rochester is off to its best start in program history.

THURSDAY’S RESULTS:

ROCHESTER ADAMS 13, WATERFORD UNITED 6: Adams picked up the non-league win Thursday night over Waterford United.
