FRASER — There could be something magical about 2-0 scores and Troy’s girls soccer team this postseason.

The Colts captured their fourth straight win of the postseason Tuesday, the third straight by a 2-0 count, by topping New Baltimore Anchor Bay in a Division 1 regional semifinal at Fraser High School.

Troy, which has now outscored its four postseason opponents by an 8-1 margin scored a goal in each half to prevail.

Sarah Troccoli scored what proved to be the game-winner on an assist by Jenn Busk.

Irene Young finished off a cross by Erin Wrubel in the second half to cap the scoring.

Alison Holland notched four saves for her 16th shutout and 34th in two seasons for Troy.

Emily Wyszczelski made 13 saves for Anchor Bay.

Troy (17-2-3) will face Grosse Pointe South, a 1-0 double-overtime winner Tuesday over Farmington Hills Mercy, Friday, also at Fraser. The regional finals tilt is set up for a chance for Troy to play in the state semifinals for the second straight year and seventh overall.
