BOYS HOCKEY: Stoney Creek ices West Bloomfield
ROCHESTER — Rochester Stoney Creek outscored West Bloomfield in each of the three periods to ice West Bloomfield 6-2 in an OAA crossover boys hockey match at the Onyx.
Stoney Creek built a 2-1 lead after the first period and held a 4-1 advantage heading into the third frame.
The Cougars outscored the Lakers 2-1 in the final period to cruise to the four-goal win.
Josh Niederhauser scored three goals for Stoney Creek.
West Bloomfield’s Luke Andrews had only 39 saves on 45 shots.
