ROCHESTER HILLS — Sammy Condon slammed 15 kills for a hitting percentage of .565 to go with three blocks, one assist and one dig in leading Oakland University to a 3-0 sweep over Youngstown State Friday night at the O’rena in Horizon League play.

Jessica Dood surpassed 1,000 career kills mark, becoming just the seventh player in Oakland history — and the second this season joining Melissa Deatsch — to surpass the 1,000 career kills threshold.volleyball - spike 1

It is the second time in school history two players surpassed 1,000 kills in the same season.

The Golden Grizzlies will be back in action tomorrow against Cleveland State on senior day for a battle between the top two teams in the league. The match will be streamed live on ESPN3.
