TUESDAY’S LACROSSE ROUNDUP: Clarkston blanks Farmington
FARMINGTON — Six players scored goals and five recorded assists and Clarkston’s boys lacrosse team remained atop the OAA Red Division standings with an 11-0 victory Tuesday over host Farmington.
The Wolves scored two in the first, five in the second and two goals each in the third and fourth quarters, respectively.
Travis Craft scored three goals with two assists to lead Clarkston (7-2-0, 5-0-0). Jordan Kincaid added two goals and three assists, Sam Moore scored twice, Kyle O’Grady had a goal and three assists, and both Reid Kaminski and Jordan Moore had single goals for Clarkston.
Kevin Horton chipped in with two assists and Connor Dziewit had one assist. Ethan Frick, Evan Kneisel, Preston Haven, Nick Demattia, AJ Schlaff, Scott Allen and Jim McKillop aided the defensive efforts, while Adam Gohl stopped seven shots for the shutout.
Farmington falls to 5-4-0 overall and 2-2-0 in league play.
