GIRLS LACROSSE: Lake Orion picks apart Adams; Rochester topples Flushing

LAKE ORION — Jessica Smude exploded for five goals and four assists and her career night led Lake Orion to a 17-9 OAA White Division win over first-year  program Rochester Adams.

Paige Hammerl had three goals and five assists for the Dragons (3-2-0), while Carly Brooks and Ronnie Booth also scored three times each.

Jordan Hill, Nicole Blovet and Mallory Demott (two assists) added single goals Ronnie Booth had an assist and Tiffany Smrtnik made seven saves in the win.

ROCHESTER 9, FLUSHING 6: Rochester continued to flourish out of conference with this three-goal win Thursday. Maggie Ng scored six goals to lead the Falcons (3-1-0). Ng broke a 3-3 tie just before the end of the first half and set off a string of six straight goals by Rochester. Jordin Pardoski added two goals for Rochester and Katie Krako scored once, while Aly Rosenau made 14 saves for the Falcons.
