SOCCER ROUNDUP: Troy blanks Clarkston; Lakers shut out Cardinal Mooney

TROY — Emily Dzik netted the hat trick and host Troy held on to third place in the OAA Red Division with a 4-0 shutout of Clarkston Tuesday.

Irene Young netted the other goal and drew an assist, while Alison Holland picked up the shutout for Troy (10-1-2, 6-1-2)

Katie Miller made 12 saves in goal for Clarkston (6-5-1).

WATERFORD OUR LADY-CLARKSTON EVEREST COLEGIATE 3, MARINE CITY CARDINAL MOONEY: Three different players scored goals and  the defending Division 4 state champions remained undefeated on the soccer pitch with this CHSL win Tuesday. Ava Doetsch, Lindsay Straw and Anna Robb had the goals for the Lakers (10-0-1).

ROCHESTER STONEY CREEK 4, LAKE ORION 0: Jone Sieja scored two goals with an assist to pace the Cougars to the OAA Red Division win Tuesday. Maddie Lucci added a goal and two assists for Stoney Creek (8-4, 4-4). Sara Robinson had the shutout in goal.

ANN ARBOR GREENHILLS 4, AUBURN HILLS OAKLAND CHRISTIAN 2: Greenhills doubled up Oakland Christian in MIAC Blue Division play.

PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 2, DEARBORN DIVINE CHILD 1: Notre Dame Prep, ranked fifth in Division 3, kept pace in the CHSL with this division win Tuesday. Lauren Jbara and Lindsey Klei scored for Notre Dame Prep (11-3-0).
