GIRLS LACROSSE: Five local players earn All-State honors
A total of five local girls lacrosse earned All-State honors, as the Michigan High School Girls Lacrosse Coaches Association announced its postseason teams for 2012.
On the Division 1 first team, Troy junior goalkeeper made the cut, while Troy junior midfielder Haley Burns was named to the second team. Additionally, Clarkston senior midfielders Stephanie Dellinger and Lauren Sharkey both earned honorable mention status in Division 1.
Over in Division 2, Rochester senior goalkeeper Aly Rosenau earned honorable mention honors.
